Welcome to the web site of Macedonia Baptist Church. Our mission is to fulfill the great commission; to win souls to Christ through worship, teaching, serving, nurturing, and stewardship for the advancement of God's Kingdom—"building God's Kingdom one soul at a time". Thank you for visiting and we pray that you will come back and visit us again soon or come and worship with us. Our doors swing on ´welcome´ hinges!

The Missionary Ministry will be working with the Children of Mine Youth Center, Inc., located in Washington, DC. This is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-based after school program in Washington, DC's Anacostia neighborhood that provides a safe, clean, and loving home to children from the Metropolitan area. Between 75-80 children come every day to do their homework, eat a hot meal, and participate in organized activities.
The Founder/Director of this program is Mrs. Hanna M. Hawkins. On every third Saturday of the month, Mrs. Hawkins provides services to the homeless men in the area with hot meals, clothing, as well as haircuts. This is the part that the Missionary Ministry will participate in; our prayer is that MBC would help us to help others that are in need. If you would like to be involved in this mission, there is a sign-up sheet in the Fellowship Hall. We are looking for at least four people to participate each month. If you sign up, please be mindful that we need to be there by 7:00 a.m. The Missionary Ministry will be volunteering the third Saturday of this month. If you have any questions, please see Missionaries Mary Jackson or DeGrasia Stanley.
